What is the minimum age for staying?
The minimum age for check-in is 18 years.
Minors under 18 years of age may stay if accompanied by a responsible adult.
How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation simply on this website, by email or by telephone. For each option, you must indicate the desired island, the dates, the number of guests and the type of accommodation.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
The cancellation or amendment of your booking is dependent on the rate selected at the time of booking. The conditions underlying each rate are indicated during the process.
Do hostels have private rooms?
Yes, we have options for private rooms with en-suite toilets and private rooms without en-suite toilets.
Is breakfast included in the booking?
Yes, the buffet breakfast is included in your reservation and can be enjoyed from 07:30 to 10:00 every day of the week.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM and check-out is between 12:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
Can I leave my luggage before check-in?
Yes, we have our own luggage lockers where you can store your belongings until check-in. (confirm)
Is it possible to book for groups or schools?
Yes, it is possible to book for groups, including school groups. To confirm specific conditions such as prices and special rates for groups, please contact us by email at bookings@azoresyouthhostels.com or by telephone on (+351) 296 629 431.
What documents do I need to present at check-in?
At check-in, we request the presentation of an identification document or passport and a credit card in the name of the reservation holder.
Are the Azores Youth Hostels suitable for families?
Yes, families are welcome at Azores Youth Hotels. We have private rooms, which offer more privacy and comfort for families, as well as cots and/or extra beds available upon request.
