At Azores Green Villas, we believe that true luxury lies in simplicity – and in respect for the place we inhabit. The Tea Houses, where it all began, were born surrounded by forest and sea, and from this connection emerged our commitment: to live and host with environmental consciousness.
Construction with respect for the environment
Every detail has been considered to reduce environmental impact and preserve the natural landscape. Our homes have been refurbished with local and sustainable materials, favouring wood, stone and natural insulation. The architecture integrates into its surroundings, respecting the original topography and vegetation.
Responsible resource management
Water is an essential resource — and in the Azores, a precious commodity. For this reason, we apply consumption control systems, low-flow cisterns and taps, and practices for the reuse and recycling of rainwater for garden irrigation.
Gardens and biodiversity
The outdoor spaces have been designed to preserve native flora and promote biodiversity. The landscaped areas include native species and aromatic plants that attract pollinators and maintain the ecological balance of the site.
The Zen Park, integrated into the natural woodland, is an example of harmonious coexistence between architecture and the forest.
